Conduct thorough reviews of all products throughout the development process to ensure they meet all legal and ethical standards
Provide legal guidance and advice to various departments regarding product clearance and compliance
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure Nintendo products are always in compliance
Work closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and legal to ensure all products meet legal and ethical requirements
Conduct research and analysis on intellectual property rights and other relevant legal issues
Collaborate with external partners, including licensors and third-party developers, to ensure their products meet Nintendo's standards
Develop and maintain a system for tracking and documenting all product clearance and compliance activities
Review and approve product packaging, marketing materials, and other related materials for legal compliance
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on product clearance and compliance processes and procedures
Identify and address any potential legal issues or risks related to product clearance and compliance
Collaborate with government agencies and other external entities to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Represent Nintendo in legal proceedings related to product clearance and compliance, if necessary.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Law, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Product Clearance And Compliance In The Video Game Industry.
Thorough Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Product Safety And Consumer Protection.
Strong Understanding Of Intellectual Property Laws And Licensing Agreements.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
