  1. Develop and implement merchandise financial plans that align with overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to inform merchandise planning decisions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product assortments and make strategic buying decisions.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  5. Create and maintain a merchandise budget that maximizes profitability and minimizes risk.
  6. Utilize data-driven insights to drive assortment planning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies.
  8. Communicate merchandise financial plans and strategies to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline merchandise planning and financial processes.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and development.
  11. Collaborate with external partners to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for merchandise purchasing.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges that may impact merchandise financial planning.
  13. Utilize strong project management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of merchandise financial plans and make adjustments as needed.
  15. Represent the company and brand in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Merchandise Planning Or Financial Planning, Preferably In The Retail Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Financial Modeling Skills, With A Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Leading Cross-Functional Projects.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Math, Inventory Management, And Forecasting Techniques.
