  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure all digital platforms and products at Nike are accessible to individuals of all abilities.
  2. Stay up-to-date on accessibility guidelines and best practices to ensure Nike's digital properties meet industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility principles into all phases of digital development projects.
  4. Lead and manage projects related to digital accessibility, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  5. Conduct regular audits and testing to identify and address accessibility barriers.
  6. Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on accessibility standards and practices.
  7. Monitor and track progress on accessibility initiatives, and report on key metrics and outcomes to leadership.
  8. Identify and address potential accessibility issues and barriers in existing digital products and platforms.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert on digital accessibility, providing guidance and support to various departments and teams within Nike.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and organizations to further Nike's commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
  11. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in digital accessibility and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
  12. Champion the importance of accessibility within the organization and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  13. Ensure compliance with accessibility laws and regulations, and advocate for accessibility standards and policies within the company.
  14. Represent Nike in accessibility-related events, conferences, and industry forums.
  15. Continuously seek feedback and input from users with disabilities to improve Nike's digital accessibility efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Accessibility Guidelines And Standards: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Web Accessibility Guidelines And Standards, Such As Wcag 2.0 And Ada, And How They Apply To Digital Products And Services.

  • Experience With Accessibility Testing Tools: Proficiency In Using Accessibility Testing Tools Such As Jaws, Nvda, And Voiceover Is A Must For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Conduct Comprehensive Accessibility Audits And Identify Issues Using These Tools.

  • Project Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Project Management Skills To Effectively Coordinate And Manage Accessibility Initiatives Across Different Teams And Projects. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Organizational, Communication, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Technical Knowledge: A Strong Technical Background Is Essential For A Digital Accessibility Project Specialist. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Web Development Technologies And Coding Best Practices To Ensure Accessibility Is Integrated Into The Development Process.

  • Experience With Disability Inclusion: Nike Is Committed To Promoting Diversity And Inclusion, And This Role Requires A Candidate Who Has Experience Working With People With Disabilities.
