As a Coach-Department Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of talented individuals while driving results and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of employees within the designated department, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  2. Create and maintain a positive and dynamic work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee development.
  3. Set and communicate performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure team members are meeting and exceeding goals.
  4. Oversee daily operations of the department, including inventory management, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  5. Use your expertise and passion for sports to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
  6. Collaborate with other department managers and store leadership to drive overall store success and meet sales targets.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to increase department sales and profitability.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all safety and security guidelines.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures within the department to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  11. Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the team and promote a sense of community within the store.
  12. Act as a role model for the team by embodying the Nike brand and values.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and handle any disciplinary actions in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Attend training and development programs to enhance leadership and coaching skills.
  15. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the department.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In The Sports Industry, Particularly In The Area Of Athletic Footwear And Apparel.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments, Including Marketing, Design, And Sales.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Achieving Targets Through Effective Coaching And Training Techniques.

  • Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Department Performance And Overall Business Success.
