- Provide expert medical care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order relevant diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer medications and perform procedures within the scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in pediatric critical care through continuing education and professional development.
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental meetings.
- Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Attend trainings, conferences, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Certification By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (Icu).
Current State Licensure As A Physician Assistant In New York.
