- Conduct patient consultations and assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Provide comprehensive and efficient care to patients, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address patient needs and concerns.
- Continuously pursue professional development and stay current on advancements in the field of general surgery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines in regards to patient information.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In General Surgery.
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Post-Operative Care, And Medication Management.
Ability To Work Night Shifts And Weekends, With Flexibility In Schedule To Accommodate Emergencies And On-Call Duties.
