  1. Teach and train nursing staff on best practices and procedures, utilizing your expert knowledge and experience in the field.
  2. Develop and implement educational programs and materials to improve the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in training and education across departments.
  4. Assess the learning needs of nursing staff and create tailored educational plans to meet those needs.
  5. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and promotes continuous learning.
  6. Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating professional behavior and adherence to ethical standards.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the nursing field and incorporate them into training programs.

  9. Provide support and guidance to nursing staff, addressing any questions or concerns related to patient care.
  10. Maintain accurate records of training and education provided to nursing staff.
  11. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  12. Adhere to all hospital and regulatory standards, including those related to patient confidentiality and safety.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement hospital-wide training initiatives.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork.
  15. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate training needs of nursing staff on different shifts.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of New York.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Setting.

  • Previous Experience As A Nurse Educator Or Instructor Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Current Nursing Practices And Evidence-Based Teaching Methods.
