  1. Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to pediatric patients with blood disorders and cancer.
  2. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and monitor the progress of patients, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, medication administration, and test results.
  7. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex medical issues and provide appropriate interventions.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to treatment planning and decision-making processes.
  10. Stay up to date with current research, trends, and best practices in pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided to patients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  14. Serve as a role model and mentor for nursing staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient advocacy and ethical standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With Specialization In Pediatric Oncology Or Related Field.

  • Current Certification As A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Pnp) Or Pediatric Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (Cpnp-Pc).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In Pediatric Oncology, Preferably In A Bone Marrow Transplant Setting.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric Cancer Treatments, Including Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, And Stem Cell Transplantation.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide Comprehensive Care For Pediatric Patients With Cancer And Undergoing Bone Marrow Transplants.
