- Design and implement wireless network solutions to support the hospital's network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to wireless connectivity.
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless integration of wireless infrastructure with existing network systems.
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliable and secure wireless connectivity.
- Develop and maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in wireless technology to continuously improve the hospital's wireless infrastructure.
- Work closely with other departments, such as clinical and facilities teams, to identify and address network needs and requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of wireless devices.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant security standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issues.
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure smooth operation of the wireless network.
- Participate in project planning and implementation for new wireless network initiatives.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to network security and data privacy.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements for the wireless infrastructure to enhance the patient experience and support the hospital's mission.
- Stay current on professional certifications and training to maintain and expand technical knowledge and skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, Specifically With Wireless Infrastructure.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Wireless Networking Protocols, Such As Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, And Cellular Technologies.
Experience With Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Large-Scale Wireless Networks In A Healthcare Environment.
Professional Certifications, Such As Cisco Certified Network Professional (Ccnp) Wireless Or Certified Wireless Network Professional (Cwnp), Are Preferred.
