In this role, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making for our hospital's managed care contracts.   1. Analyze financial data related to managed care contracts and provide insights to support decision-making for the hospital.
  2. Develop financial models and forecasts to assess the financial impact of managed care contracts.
  3. Collaborate with other departments, including finance, accounting, and revenue cycle, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  4. Monitor and track contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for contract renegotiations.
  5. Conduct competitive market analysis and benchmarking to inform negotiation strategies.
  6. Communicate with insurance companies and other external stakeholders to negotiate rates and resolve payment issues.
  7. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities related to managed care contracts and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in managed care to inform decision-making and ensure compliance.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor managed care initiatives and strategies.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members on managed care concepts and analysis techniques.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to managed care contract management and analysis.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling financial data and negotiations.
  14. Represent the hospital in meetings with insurance companies, government agencies, and other external stakeholders.
  15. Support the hospital's mission and values and strive to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Reimbursement Methods And Managed Care Contracts

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Financial Data And Make Recommendations

  • Proficiency In Financial Software And Microsoft Excel, With The Ability To Create Complex Financial Models And Reports Accurately.
