Job Description

A successful candidate will be responsible for the success of all NBC’s sponsored educational programs which currently host 2,500 members of the community annually. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure programs are adequately staffed to deliver a quality experience. Fill-in as an educator as needed. Monitor and evaluate programming, making recommendations for improvement, and taking action to elevate programming when appropriate. Invoice groups for payment of programs as necessary. Make recommendations for budgetary items to support educational programming.

Job Qualifications

  • Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Experience in science/environmental educational program development

  • Some experience in teaching strategies that meet varying abilities of students

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
