  1. Coordinate and manage all logistics related to study away programs, including travel arrangements, housing accommodations, and program activities.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with partner institutions and organizations to ensure a seamless and enriching study away experience for students.
  3. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to provide information and updates on study away programs and address any concerns or issues.
  4. Create and maintain accurate records and databases for program participants, including application materials, financial information, and evaluations.
  5. Collaborate with academic departments to ensure that study away programs align with academic goals and requirements.
  6. Plan and facilitate pre-departure orientations and workshops for students to prepare them for their study away experience.
  7. Serve as a resource for students, providing guidance and support throughout the study away process.
  8. Monitor and manage program budgets, expenses, and reimbursements to ensure financial compliance.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students during their study away experience.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve study away programs to enhance the educational and cultural experiences of students.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in international education to inform program development and implementation.
  12. Work closely with other departments and teams within the university to promote and market study away opportunities to students.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information related to program participants and operations.
  14. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, responding to emails, and managing program materials.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of NYU and promote a diverse and inclusive environment for all students participating in study away programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As International Education, Higher Education Administration, Or Related Area.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Study Away Program Administration Or Related Experience In Education Abroad.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Best Practices In Study Away Program Development, Implementation, And Risk Management.

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders Such As Students, Faculty, And International Partners.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Program Evaluation, And Data Analysis To Inform Decision Making And Program Improvement.
