  1. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students studying abroad at the Tel Aviv campus.
  2. Support and engage with students in a professional and friendly manner.
  3. Organize and coordinate events and activities to promote community building among students.
  4. Provide guidance and assistance to students with any issues or concerns they may have.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to enhance the overall campus experience.
  6. Collaborate with other Resident Life Assistants to ensure consistent support and programming for students.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student interactions and incidents.
  8. Serve as a resource for students regarding campus policies and procedures.
  9. Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their well-being and address any potential concerns.
  10. Act as a role model for students by upholding and promoting university values and expectations.
  11. Work closely with the Residence Life Coordinator to address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the community.
  12. Assist in the selection and training of new Resident Life Assistants.
  13. Adhere to all university policies, including those related to safety and security.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the resident life experience for students.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and represent NYU Tel Aviv campus in a positive light.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Counseling, Or Psychology.

  • Prior Experience Working In A Residential Setting, Preferably In A University Or College Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With A Diverse Student Population.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively As Part Of A Team To Plan And Implement Programs And Events.

  • Understanding Of And Commitment To Upholding The Values And Policies Of New York University, Including Promoting A Safe And Inclusive Living Environment For All Residents.
