- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students studying abroad at the Tel Aviv campus.
- Support and engage with students in a professional and friendly manner.
- Organize and coordinate events and activities to promote community building among students.
- Provide guidance and assistance to students with any issues or concerns they may have.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to enhance the overall campus experience.
- Collaborate with other Resident Life Assistants to ensure consistent support and programming for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student interactions and incidents.
- Serve as a resource for students regarding campus policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their well-being and address any potential concerns.
- Act as a role model for students by upholding and promoting university values and expectations.
- Work closely with the Residence Life Coordinator to address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the community.
- Assist in the selection and training of new Resident Life Assistants.
- Adhere to all university policies, including those related to safety and security.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the resident life experience for students.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and represent NYU Tel Aviv campus in a positive light.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Counseling, Or Psychology.
Prior Experience Working In A Residential Setting, Preferably In A University Or College Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With A Diverse Student Population.
Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively As Part Of A Team To Plan And Implement Programs And Events.
Understanding Of And Commitment To Upholding The Values And Policies Of New York University, Including Promoting A Safe And Inclusive Living Environment For All Residents.
