  1. Manage and oversee all resources within the residence halls, including equipment, supplies, and facilities.
  2. Develop and implement efficient systems for tracking and organizing resources, ensuring they are readily available for use by students and staff.
  3. Coordinate and communicate with various departments and vendors to procure necessary resources for the residence halls.
  4. Maintain accurate records and inventory of all resources, conducting regular audits to ensure proper usage and availability.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to resources, working closely with maintenance and IT teams to address any technical problems.
  6. Train and supervise a team of resource assistants to assist with resource management and ensure high-quality customer service.
  7. Collaborate with other residence hall staff to plan and execute events and programs that utilize resources, such as study groups or social activities.
  8. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for the use of resources, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
  9. Serve as a point of contact for students and staff regarding resource-related inquiries or concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve resource management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in resource management, implementing new strategies as appropriate.
  12. Uphold the values and mission of New York University and the Residence Life department in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration Or Facilities Management.

  • Experience Working In A Residence Hall Or Similar Housing Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Budget Management And Financial Reporting.

  • Familiarity With Relevant Software And Systems, Such As Housing Management Software And Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Students, Staff, And Vendors.
