- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned programs at NYU, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding program inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Collaborate with department heads and faculty to develop program goals, objectives, and curriculum.
- Coordinate and schedule classes, events, and meetings associated with the program.
- Develop and maintain program budgets, including monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and forecasting future funding needs.
- Manage program enrollments, including admissions, registration, and student records.
- Provide guidance and support to students, including advising on course selection, program requirements, and career opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as external regulations and accreditation standards.
- Conduct research and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program support staff, including interns and student workers.
- Collaborate with other university departments and external partners to develop and promote program initiatives.
- Participate in program marketing and recruitment efforts, including creating promotional materials and representing the program at events.
- Stay updated on developments and trends in higher education to continuously improve program offerings and maintain competitiveness.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff, promoting diversity and equity.
- Contribute to overall departmental goals and assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Business Administration, Education, Or Public Administration.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Administration Or A Related Field, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, Students, And External Partners.
Demonstrated Experience In Program Planning, Budgeting, And Project Management.
Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Policies Related To Program Administration, Such As Federal And State Laws, Accreditation Standards, And University Policies.
