
Grant and Special Projects Administrator - Office of the Dean for Science

- Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Coordinate and track progress of special projects, including scheduling meetings and managing project timelines.
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers to develop project proposals and budgets.
- Conduct research and stay current on funding opportunities and grant management processes.
- Serve as a liaison between the Office of the Dean for Science and external funding agencies.
- Provide training and support to faculty and staff on grant management policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit required reports to funding agencies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of grant applications, awards, and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures related to grants and special projects.
- Collaborate with other university departments, such as finance and sponsored programs, to ensure smooth handling of grant funds.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in grant management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline grant management procedures.
- Act as a resource for faculty and researchers regarding grant-related inquiries and concerns.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Finance, Or Project Management.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Grant Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Grant Writing And Proposal Development Processes.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines.
Proficiency In Budget Management And Financial Reporting, With Experience Using Relevant Software And Systems.
