This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of grant administration within our center, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and deadlines.   1. Manage and oversee all aspects of grant administration within the Center for Neural Science at New York University.
  2. Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and deadlines for all grants within the center.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant records, including budgets, progress reports, and other documentation.
  4. Communicate regularly with grant funding agencies to address any questions or concerns and provide timely updates on grant progress.
  5. Collaborate with the research team to develop grant proposals, including budget development and justification.
  6. Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure they align with approved budgets.
  7. Prepare and submit all required grant reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  8. Stay updated on changes in grant funding policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  9. Work with the finance team to ensure proper allocation and tracking of grant funds.
  10. Provide support and guidance to researchers on grant-related matters, including budget management and compliance.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information related to grant funding.
  12. Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes to streamline grant administration.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective grant management and utilization of resources.
  14. Attend meetings and trainings related to grant management and funding.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve grant administration processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In Grant Administration Or Management, Preferably In A University Or Research Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Grant Funding Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Grants And Deadlines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And External Funding Agencies.
