Job Description

The Financial Aid Administrator, Federal Programs at New York University is responsible for providing assistance and support to students in the Federal Financial Aid Programs. The ideal candidate must be an organized, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to providing excellent service, who is capable of developing and maintaining a working knowledge of federal regulations. The successful candidate will have a passion for promoting access to higher education and be committed to helping students get the most out of their educational experience. Qualifications required:• Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of financial aid • Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to student financial aid • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Proficiency in MS Office Suite • Knowledge of student information systems • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
