
Clinical Supply and Procurement Manager

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels across multiple medical facilities.
- Monitor and analyze supply usage and trends to forecast future needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to obtain the best pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with medical staff to understand supply needs and ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of all supplies received, ensuring they meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records of all procurement activities.
- Train and supervise staff responsible for supply management and procurement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends in supply chain management to identify potential improvements and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with finance and budgeting teams to develop and manage supply budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between different departments and facilities to coordinate supply needs and resolve any issues.
- Proactively identify and address potential supply shortages or disruptions to minimize impact on patient care.
- Maintain a strong understanding of NYU's mission and values, and ensure all procurement activities align with them.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Procurement And Supply Chain Management In A Healthcare Or Pharmaceutical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp).
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Suppliers.
Experience With Inventory Management And Tracking Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Relevant Software Programs.
