- Develop and implement strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Dean and senior leaders to advance the mission of the School of Global Public Health.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the School, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the School, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Serve as a liaison between the Dean and other stakeholders, representing the School in meetings and communications.
- Provide support and guidance to the Dean and senior leaders in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives of the School.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other academic institutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the School and promote its mission and values to external audiences.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop and execute effective communication strategies to promote the School and its initiatives.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of public health and make recommendations for incorporating them into the School's operations.
- Plan and organize events, conferences, and other activities to promote the School and its initiatives.
- Uphold the School's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the job.
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Position Within A Public Health Organization Or Academic Institution, With A Strong Understanding Of Global Public Health Issues And Trends.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Health Policy, Or Business Administration.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders Including Faculty, Students, Staff, Community Partners, And External Organizations.
Proven Track Record Of Strategic Planning, Project Management, And Resource Allocation, With The Ability To Effectively Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.
Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Synthesize Complex Information And Data To Inform Decision-Making And Drive Organizational Growth And Success.
