  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external partners, to identify program needs and opportunities.
  3. Lead and manage a team of program coordinators and support staff to ensure effective execution of programs.
  4. Monitor program budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in program development and implementation.
  6. Develop metrics and evaluation methods to measure the impact and success of programs.
  7. Create and maintain partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and expand opportunities for students.
  8. Provide leadership and guidance to program coordinators, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional development.
  9. Oversee the planning and execution of program events, workshops, and other activities.
  10. Communicate regularly with program participants, stakeholders, and university leadership to provide updates on program progress and results.
  11. Stay informed about current issues and challenges facing higher education and make recommendations for program adjustments as needed.
  12. Uphold the university's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all program initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote programs and increase participation.
  14. Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures related to program development and execution.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve program processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Relevant Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Education, Public Administration Or Nonprofit Management Is Required For The Position. This Demonstrates A Strong Academic Background And Knowledge In The Field Of Program Development And Implementation.

  • Prior Experience In Program Management: A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting, Is Required. This Shows The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage Programs, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Opportunities In A University Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Associate Director Must Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Make Strategic Decisions. This Position Will Require The Individual To Oversee And Guide A Team Of Program Coordinators And Staff, And Therefore Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Associate Director Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders Such As Faculty, Students, And Community Partners. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Complex Ideas And Information In A Clear And Concise Manner, As Well As The Ability To Build And Maintain Professional Relationships.

  • Experience In Program Evaluation And Assessment: The Associate Director Will Be Responsible For Evaluating And Assessing The Effectiveness Of Programs, And Making Recommendations For Improvement. Therefore, Experience In Program Evaluation And Assessment, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis And Reporting, Is Crucial For This Role.
