Job Description

The Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and creative Associate Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education and advanced knowledge of public policy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for leading initiatives and developing partnerships that bring together research, teaching, and public engagement.The Associate Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership, developing and executing initiatives, and managing the Institute’s projects and programs. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Institute’s mission and a commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable environment.Qualifications:• Advanced degree in public policy, higher education, or a related field• At least five years of professional experience in higher education, public policy, or a related field• Proven experience developing and managing initiatives and partnerships• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionWe are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for the Institute’s mission and the capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
