  1. Oversee and manage the admissions process for undergraduate and graduate programs at NYU.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to attract a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
  3. Lead a team of admissions counselors and staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and academic programs to ensure a seamless admissions process.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing information and guidance throughout the admissions process.
  6. Review and evaluate applications, including transcripts, test scores, essays, and extracurricular activities.
  7. Participate in recruitment events, both on and off-campus, to promote NYU and attract potential students.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, changes in admissions policies, and best practices to continuously improve the admissions process.
  9. Ensure compliance with all university and government regulations and policies related to admissions.
  10. Foster a culture of inclusivity and equity within the admissions process, promoting access to education for all qualified students.
  11. Create and maintain partnerships with high schools, community organizations, and other institutions to increase awareness of NYU and its admissions process.
  12. Analyze data and trends to inform decision-making and improve recruitment strategies.
  13. Represent NYU at national and international conferences and events related to admissions and higher education.
  14. Work closely with the financial aid office to provide support and guidance to admitted students.
  15. Act as a liaison between the admissions office and various academic departments, providing updates and collaborating on recruitment efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Or Marketing.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Admissions At A University Or College Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Admissions Processes, Recruitment Strategies, And Enrollment Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Diverse Groups Of Students, Families, And Colleagues.

  • Experience With Data Analysis And Proficiency In Using Admissions Software And Crm Systems.
