
Assistant Dean, International and Diversity Advising
New York University seeks a highly motivated and organized professional to join its team as Assistant Dean, International and Diversity Advising. This position plays an integral role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for international and diverse students, while also contributing to the academic success of NYU's student population. The ideal candidate will be passionate about diversity and inclusion and have a deep understanding of the needs of international and diverse students. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, higher education or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of experience in higher education with a focus on international and/or diversity student services is also required, as well as a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in a higher education setting. Experience in program development, student advising, policy development and implementation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions, as well as the ability to work independently, are also key.
