  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive welcome program for new students, including orientation sessions, campus tours, and information sessions.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for new students and their families, providing guidance and support throughout their transition to NYU.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and programs within the university to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding process for new students.
  4. Manage a team of advisors and staff to provide personalized support and resources for new students, including academic advising, housing assistance, and financial aid counseling.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners to provide additional resources and opportunities for new students.
  6. Monitor and assess the needs and challenges of new students, and develop strategies to address and improve their overall experience at NYU.
  7. Serve as a liaison between new students and university administration, advocating for their needs and concerns.
  8. Develop and maintain a strong sense of community among new students through events, workshops, and other initiatives.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student affairs, and continuously seek ways to enhance the new student experience at NYU.
  10. Foster a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and equity within the new student community, and promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all students.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Student Affairs, Admissions, Or Related Field, Preferably At A University Or College Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Student Development Theories And Experience Working With Diverse Student Populations.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Staff And/Or Student Employees.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Students, Faculty, And University Administrators.
