  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of academic support and library services at NYU Madrid campus.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the academic success of students, faculty, and staff.
  3. Provide guidance and support to students in utilizing library resources and services effectively.
  4. Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver workshops and programs that promote academic skills and success.
  5. Maintain and update the library collection, including acquiring new materials and managing subscriptions.
  6. Train and supervise library staff and student workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  7. Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the NYU Madrid community.
  8. Stay current with trends and advancements in academic support and library services, and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Develop and manage the budget for academic support and library services, including making purchasing decisions.
  10. Serve as a liaison between NYU Madrid and the main campus in New York to ensure alignment with overall university policies and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and resources at NYU Madrid to promote a holistic approach to academic support and student success.
  12. Conduct assessments and gather feedback to continuously improve and enhance academic support and library services.
  13. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on library usage, budget, and other relevant metrics.
  14. Handle any issues or concerns related to academic support and library services in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of academic support and library services.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Library Science, Information Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Academic Support And Library Services, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Groups Of Students, Faculty, And Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Library Services, Academic Support, And Technology.

  • Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks And Projects, While Maintaining A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
