Academic Advisor, Advising Operations

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff in order to provide personalized and effective advising services.
4. Collaborate with other academic advisors and university departments to create and implement programs and resources that support student success.
5. Proactively identify and address potential academic challenges and provide appropriate interventions and resources.
6. Maintain accurate and organized records of student interactions and progress, in accordance with university policies and procedures.
7. Assist with the development and implementation of workshops and informational sessions for students on academic planning, policy changes, and other relevant topics.
8. Serve as a resource for faculty and staff on academic policies and procedures, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve advising skills and stay current on best practices in higher education.
10. Contribute to the overall success of the Advising Operations team by actively participating in team meetings and providing feedback and support to colleagues.
