
Real Estate Transactions Coordinator
Provide expertise and support for all real estate transactional activities including acquisition of new real property, disposition of surplus lands. Negotiate and prepare lease documents for commercial and industrial leasing, and management of lease documents and reporting requirements. Negotiate, draft and analyze a broad range of real estate documents related to real estate matters, including contracts, deeds, easements, permits and other real estate related documents. Support leasing activities for NYPA’s White Plains Office Support the real estate closing and permitting process for the department. Provide the Manager Corporate Real Estate with informed recommendations pertaining to the acquisition or disposal of NYPA real property and complex leasing transactions as both landlord and tenant. Ensure that the Eminent Domain Procedure Law and other applicable statutes are properly followed in cases involving NYPA’s appropriation/acquisition of real property.
Minimum of 3 years of legal experience is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of diversified real estate experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in reviewing surveys and GIS, contract and document negotiation
Experience in handling sophisticated real estate transactions preferred.
