Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Manager of Health, Safety, and Fire Protection Training. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve. We are looking for a passionate leader with a strong background in health, safety, and fire protection training to oversee our training programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.   1. Develop and implement health, safety, and fire protection training programs for all employees.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to educate employees on safety procedures and regulations.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve safety performance.
  4. Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all training materials and programs.
  5. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and tailor programs to specific job roles and responsibilities.
  6. Oversee the training budget and allocate resources effectively to meet training needs.
  7. Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion, and ensure all employees are up-to-date with required training.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors.
  9. Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  10. Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations for prevention.
  11. Serve as a role model for safety practices and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  12. Train and mentor staff members on safety procedures and regulations.
  13. Communicate safety updates and changes to employees and management.
  14. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  16. Participate in safety committees and meetings to provide guidance and support for safety initiatives.
  17. Stay current on industry best practices and implement them into training programs.
  18. Provide regular reports on safety training and compliance to senior management.
  19. Manage and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
  20. Handle any other duties related to health, safety, and fire protection training as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Fire Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In Health, Safety, And Fire Protection Training

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety (E.g. Csp, Cih) And/Or Fire Protection (E.g. Cfps, Cfei)

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Osha And Nfpa Regulations And Standards

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees At All Levels Within The Organization.
