Director - Supply Chain Risk

The New York Power Authority is searching for an experienced, results-oriented Director - Supply Chain Risk to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Authority's supply chain risk management practices. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a real impact in an organization that provides vital energy services to New Yorkers.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain risk management, including experience designing and implementing processes and procedures. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be a proactive, highly organized individual with great interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to take initiative and work independently.
