Job Description

The New York Power Authority is seeking an experienced and talented Director of Digital Substation to lead our Digital Substation team in providing innovative solutions to increase the reliability and safety of our grid. This position requires an individual with a passion for technology and the drive to continuously stay current on the latest developments in the Digital Substation field. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of ten years of experience in a related field. They will have extensive experience in the design and implementation of Digital Substation solutions and a deep understanding of the digital substation technologies available. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
