Job Description

At the New York Power Authority, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Data Scientist to join our team. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about data analysis and who can use their expertise to provide valuable insights to the team. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the data science process, a proven track record of developing data-driven solutions, and the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the data science field. They should also have a strong knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools such as Python, R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI, as well as experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, the successful candidate should have excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.If you are an experienced Data Scientist who is passionate about discovering and leveraging data to develop powerful solutions and insights, we would love to hear from you.
