- Develop and Implement Community Energy Projects: The primary responsibility of the Community Energy Project Director will be to lead the development and implementation of community energy projects in line with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify Opportunities for Sustainable Energy Solutions: The Director will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities for sustainable energy solutions that can be implemented in local communities, and developing strategies to bring these solutions to fruition.
- Project Management: The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Community Engagement: The Director will be responsible for engaging with local communities and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the success of community energy projects. This may include organizing community meetings, conducting outreach and education efforts, and collaborating with community leaders.
- Energy Policy Development: The Director will be responsible for staying up-to-date on energy policy and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels, and incorporating these into project planning and implementation.
- Team Leadership: As the leader of the community energy team, the Director will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to successfully carry out their roles.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: The Director will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners, to build partnerships and ensure the success of community energy projects.
- Monitor and Evaluate Projects: The Director will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the progress of community energy projects, identifying areas for improvement, and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
- Budget Management: The Director will be responsible for managing the budget for community energy projects, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and seeking additional funding opportunities as needed.
- Reporting and Communication: The Director will be responsible for preparing regular reports on the progress of community energy projects and communicating updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership and the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In The Energy Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Renewable Energy Technologies And Their Implementation In Community Settings.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Policies Related To Energy Efficiency And Renewable Energy.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Stakeholders From Diverse Backgrounds And Effectively Manage A Team.
