Job Description

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is looking for a highly motivated and organized Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies that engage stakeholders, enhance reputation, and drive positive results.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field. You should be highly organized and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders and have experience in developing and executing communications plans. Additionally, you should have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to write compelling copy.
