- Develop and implement security protocols and best practices to ensure the protection of customer data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into product development processes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and solutions, and make recommendations for product improvements.
- Conduct product security testing and vulnerability scanning to identify and address any weaknesses.
- Work closely with engineering teams to implement secure coding practices and conduct security code reviews.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and team members on product security best practices.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts, and respond to any potential security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments related to product security and make recommendations for improving Netgear's security measures.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Security Engineering, Preferably In The Technology Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Network And System Security, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection And Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Management.
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Product Security, Such As Iso 27001 And Nist.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
