Senior Collections Analyst

Netgear is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Collections Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with an eye for detail, and have a strong understanding of collections and accounting procedures. You must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team, and be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence, this is the perfect role for you!To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field, and have at least 3-5 years of collections experience. Experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. A strong understanding of accounting regulations and internal controls is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
2. Negotiate payment plans with customers, and follow up on overdue payments.
3. Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
4. Generate reports to track collection activities, and review financial statements for accuracy.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
6. Prepare and submit collection letters and notices.
7. Assist with the development and implementation of internal control processes.
8. Stay up to date on accounting regulations and industry trends.
9. Participate in meetings to review accounts receivable status.
10. Provide support to other finance team members when necessary.
