- Develop and implement support solutions for complex technical challenges related to Big Data at Netflix
- Collaborate with other members of the Big Data team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends in order to continuously improve and optimize support processes
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to provide timely and accurate updates on support issues
- Proactively identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvements to prevent future problems
- Use a customer-focused approach to understand and address the needs of internal stakeholders and external customers
- Document support processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in resolving issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and product, to identify and implement solutions for complex technical challenges
- Mentor and support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall support capabilities of the team.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Role, Preferably In A Big Data Environment.
Expertise In Big Data Technologies Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
