  1. Develop and maintain software for the TV streaming platform, ensuring a high-quality and seamless viewing experience for Netflix subscribers.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to the TV player.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in TV and streaming technology, and make recommendations for improvement to enhance the user experience.
  4. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that adheres to Netflix's coding standards and best practices.
  5. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  6. Continuously test and debug software to identify and fix any issues or bugs.
  7. Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  8. Participate in the design and architecture of new features and functionalities for the TV player.
  9. Collaborate with other teams, such as design and content, to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience for subscribers.
  10. Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate the TV player technology, suggesting new ideas and approaches.
  13. Keep detailed documentation and records of software development processes and procedures.
  14. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and promoting a collaborative work environment.
