
Senior Software Engineer (L5), Consolidated Logging
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (L5) to join our Consolidated Logging team at Netflix. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with a passion for building systems that can process and visualize large amounts of data. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with distributed systems, and have a keen interest in developing high-performance, resilient services. To excel in this role, you should be well-versed in Java, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases. You should also have experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Previous experience with log-file analysis and data visualization tools is also preferred. Since this is a senior engineering role, you should have a minimum of seven years of software engineering experience in a professional setting.
