Job Description

Are you an experienced quantitative researcher driven to push the boundaries of what’s possible? Netflix is looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our team and take our research to the next level.We’re looking for a passionate individual with strong technical expertise and an understanding of the current landscape of quantitative research. As a Senior Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for developing and executing research strategies to gain insights into our customers’ behavior, preferences, and motivations, as well as uncovering actionable insights to inform product and marketing decisions.Ideally, you’ll have a PhD in a quantitative field (such as statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field), and 8+ years of experience in a quantitative research role. You’ll also need to bring excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to the role. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute research strategies to gain insights into the behavior, preferences, and motivations of Netflix customers.
  2. Uncover actionable insights to inform product and marketing decisions.
  3. Utilize excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  4. Maintain a strong technical expertise and understanding of the current landscape of quantitative research.
  5. Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure research objectives are met.
  6. Present findings and insights to stakeholders.
  7. Generate insights from large datasets.
  8. Develop new methods and techniques for data analysis.
  9. Monitor and evaluate data trends.
  10. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
