Senior Generalist Engineer

A strong understanding of web technologies, cloud computing, and security best practices is essential. Familiarity with video streaming protocols and technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable streaming experiences for Netflix customers
2. Liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and product teams
3. Collaborate with fellow engineers to create and implement innovative solutions to improve the streaming experience
4. Code, debug, and troubleshoot software applications and infrastructure
5. Monitor industry trends and new technologies to ensure Netflix is staying ahead of the curve
6. Maintain a secure environment and ensure compliance with internal security policies
7. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure product quality
8. Generate comprehensive technical documentation as needed
