- Develop and implement security measures to protect Netflix's platform and its members' data from potential security threats.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all aspects of the ecosystem.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement secure coding practices and conduct code reviews.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization on security-related matters.
- Participate in the incident response process and provide technical expertise to resolve security incidents.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the security posture of the ecosystem through risk assessments and penetration testing.
- Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices and make recommendations for their implementation at Netflix.
- Communicate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of third-party integrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters and represent Netflix in industry forums and events.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents, audits, and risk assessments.
Extensive Knowledge Of Ecosystem Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Ecosystem Security, Including Secure Network Architecture, Secure Coding Practices, And Security Protocols. They Should Be Able To Identify Vulnerabilities And Implement Appropriate Security Measures To Protect Netflix's Ecosystem.
Experience With Cloud Security: A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Security Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud, And Be Familiar With Securing Cloud-Based Applications And Services.
