
Ratings Policy Strategist - Live Events

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ratings policies and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all live events meet all applicable ratings requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ratings policies and provide guidance and advice to content teams.
- Create and implement strategies for ratings compliance for all live events.
- Stay up-to-date on any changes or updates to ratings policies and communicate them to relevant teams.
- Work closely with the Content Legal team to ensure all content complies with ratings guidelines.
- Review and provide ratings recommendations for scripts and content for live events.
- Conduct research and analysis on ratings trends and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure ratings compliance.
- Proactively identify potential ratings issues and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Keep track of ratings data and provide reports to relevant teams.
- Represent Netflix in discussions and negotiations with ratings boards and regulatory bodies.
- Train and educate internal teams on ratings policies and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve ratings processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed on industry developments and best practices related to ratings policies.
Extensive Knowledge Of Ratings Systems: A Successful Ratings Policy Strategist At Netflix Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Various Ratings Systems Used In The Entertainment Industry, Including Nielsen, Barb, And Gfk. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Latest Industry Trends And Developments In Ratings Measurement.
Experience In Live Events: This Role Requires A Strong Background In Live Events, Including Concerts, Award Shows, And Sports Events. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Ratings For Live Events, As Well As A Strong Network Of Industry Contacts.
Strategic Thinking: As A Ratings Policy Strategist, The Ability To Think Strategically Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Able To Evaluate Data And Identify Trends In Order To Develop And Implement Effective Ratings Policies For Live Events On The Netflix Platform.
