  1. Manage and oversee the localization process for all video games at Netflix, ensuring they are culturally and linguistically adapted for global audiences.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game developers, designers, and translators, to ensure high-quality localization and timely delivery.
  3. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and effective localization.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify cultural and language requirements for specific regions and incorporate them into the localization process.
  5. Work closely with external vendors and partners to manage translation, voiceover, and other localization services.
  6. Ensure consistency and accuracy of localized content across multiple languages and platforms.
  7. Develop and implement best practices for game localization, including style guides and glossaries.
  8. Communicate and align with internal stakeholders, including game producers and marketing teams, to ensure localization meets project and company objectives.
  9. Monitor and report on localization progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game localization to continuously improve processes and workflows.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members and provide guidance on localization best practices.
  12. Represent Netflix and the games team in industry events and conferences related to localization.
  13. Uphold Netflix’s values and standards of diversity, inclusion, and global cultural awareness in all aspects of the job.

  • Extensive Experience In Game Localization: A Successful Localization Producer At Netflix Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Game Localization Processes And Best Practices. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing Multiple Game Localization Projects From Start To Finish.

  • Proficiency In Multiple Languages: As Netflix Expands Its Global Presence, It Is Essential For A Localization Producer To Be Fluent In Multiple Languages. They Should Have A Strong Command Of English And At Least One Other Language, Preferably A Language Spoken In A Major Gaming Market.

  • Knowledge Of Game Development: A Localization Producer Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Game Development Process, Including Game Design, Programming, And Art Production. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Order To Effectively Manage Localization Projects And Ensure That Translated Content Meets The Technical And Creative Requirements Of The Game.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills: The Localization Producer Must Have Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create And Manage Project Schedules, Track Project Progress, And Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams.
