  • Develop and execute a strategic content plan for the Japanese market, in alignment with overall business goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a team responsible for content programming and operations in Japan
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform content decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as content acquisition, marketing, and product to ensure a cohesive and effective content strategy
  • Manage relationships with content partners and negotiate deals for new and existing content
  • Oversee the operational aspects of content delivery, including scheduling, metadata, and localization
  • Monitor and optimize content performance metrics to drive growth and engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in the Japanese market, adapting strategies accordingly
  • Represent Netflix in external meetings and events related to content, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Drive innovation and experimentation in content programming and operations to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving entertainment landscape.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Content Programming: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Content Programming For A Major Media Or Entertainment Company, With A Strong Understanding Of The Japanese Market.

  • Strategic Thinker: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills, Able To Develop And Execute Content Programming Strategies That Align With The Overall Business Objectives Of Netflix In Japan.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Data-Driven Approach To Decision Making And Be Able To Use Data And Insights To Identify Trends And Opportunities For Content Programming In Japan.
