- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for product and technology initiatives, aligned with the overall brand strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries related to product and technology, and proactively pitch stories to relevant media outlets.
- Create compelling and impactful messaging and content that effectively communicates the value and innovation of our product and technology offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall business goals.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies and identify opportunities to enhance our brand reputation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and thought leaders.
- Develop and maintain crisis communication plans related to product and technology, and serve as a spokesperson during crisis situations.
- Lead and manage a team of communications professionals to execute communication strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with product and technology teams to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities and partnerships to showcase our product and technology innovations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in product and technology communications and incorporate them into our strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product launch and announcement plans.
- Continuously track and report on the success of communication efforts and use data to inform future strategies.
- Support internal communication efforts to ensure employees are informed and aligned with product and technology initiatives.
- Represent Netflix at industry events and conferences, showcasing our product and technology innovations.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Communications, Specifically In The Technology Or Entertainment Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Executing Product And Technology Communication Strategies.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Technical Information To Both Internal And External Stakeholders.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience In Managing A Team And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Results.
