- Develop and implement standards and best practices for design across all platforms and products.
- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in design across all touchpoints.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
- Continuously evaluate and refine design processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into our design strategies.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Act as a spokesperson for the design team, presenting and advocating for design decisions to stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the overall visual identity of Netflix, maintaining brand consistency and ensuring it evolves with the company's growth and direction.
Extensive Experience In Design Leadership: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Design Leadership Roles, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Design Teams.
Strong Understanding Of Design Standards And Best Practices: The Candidate Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Design Standards And Best Practices, With A Focus On User-Centered Design Principles. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Implement These Standards Within The Team.
Expertise In Design Research And Insights: The Design Lead Should Have A Strong Background In Design Research, With Experience In Conducting User Interviews, Usability Testing, And Other Research Methods To Gather Insights And Inform Design Decisions.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And The Ability To Solve Complex Design Problems. They Should Be Able To Identify And Prioritize Design Opportunities, And Develop Innovative Solutions That Align With Business Goals.
