  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Netflix's brand and its values.
  2. Review and approve all advertising materials to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Negotiate and draft agreements with third-party vendors and partners for advertising campaigns.
  4. Advise and counsel internal teams on potential legal issues and risks related to advertising.
  5. Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and legal, to develop innovative and effective advertising campaigns.
  7. Identify and assess potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  8. Draft and review contracts and agreements related to advertising, including talent agreements, licensing agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
  9. Manage and maintain relationships with external legal counsel.
  10. Stay informed about changes in advertising laws and regulations and ensure compliance with them.
  11. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  12. Train and educate internal teams on legal and regulatory requirements related to advertising.
  13. Represent Netflix in negotiations and discussions with regulatory bodies and industry organizations.
  14. Monitor and report on competitor advertising activities and make recommendations to improve Netflix's advertising strategies.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  16. Handle any legal disputes or issues related to advertising.
  17. Provide guidance and support for international advertising campaigns.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Practicing Law In The Advertising Industry, Preferably At A Major Entertainment Company Or Advertising Agency.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Advertising Laws, Including Ftc Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Strong Understanding Of Intellectual Property And Copyright Law As It Relates To Advertising And Marketing Materials.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
