- Design and develop cloud-based solutions for NetApp's product offerings.

- Implement best practices and industry standards for cloud software engineering.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in the cloud environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and apply them to enhance NetApp's products.
- Work closely with product management and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all software solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to foster their technical growth.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and integration of the software solutions.
- Follow company coding standards and practices to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebase.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality software within the given deadlines.
- Proactively identify and address potential performance and scalability issues.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed cloud solutions.
Extensive Experience With Cloud Computing Platforms: A Sr. Cloud Software Engineer At Netapp Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With Popular Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud Platform. This Includes Proficiency In Infrastructure-As-A-Service (Iaas), Platform-As-A-Service (Paas), And Software-As-A-Service (Saas) Models.
Strong Programming Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Programming Skills In Languages Like Java, Python, Or C++. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Bash Or Powershell. A Solid Understanding Of Object-Oriented Design Principles And Experience With Software Development Best Practices Is Also Crucial For This Role.
Expertise In Devops And Automation: As A Sr. Cloud Software Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience In Devops Practices And Automation Tools Such As Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Or Terraform. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Efficient And Secure Infrastructure Automation Solutions For Cloud-Based Applications.
Knowledge Of Cloud Security: A Sr. Cloud Software Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security Best Practices And Be Able To Implement Them In Their Work. This Includes Knowledge Of Identity And Access Management, Data Encryption, Network Security, And Compliance Standards.
Experience With Containerization And Orchestration: Netapp's Sr. Cloud Software Engineer Should Have Experience With Containerization Technologies Such As Docker And Kubernetes. They Should Also Be Familiar With Container Orchestration Tools Like Amazon Ecs Or Azure Container Instances. Knowledge Of Microservices Architecture Is Also Desirable.
