- Drive product success: Lead the development and execution of product strategies that align with company goals and drive the success of our enterprise storage products.
- Ideate and innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop innovative product ideas and features that differentiate NetApp's offerings.
- Manage product lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing updates, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products that meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Develop product roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on business objectives, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Conduct market research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure our products stay relevant and competitive in the marketplace.
- Communicate product vision: Clearly communicate the product vision, strategy, and updates to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers through presentations, roadshows, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment on product vision, strategy, and execution.
- Drive product launches: Lead product launches, including developing launch plans, creating product messaging and positioning, and coordinating with marketing and sales teams for successful go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance: Monitor product performance and customer feedback, and use data to make informed decisions on product roadmap and prioritization.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the enterprise storage market to inform product strategy and roadmap.
- Foster customer relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and gather feedback to continuously improve our products.
- Mentor team members: Mentor and support junior product team members, providing guidance and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
Extensive Knowledge Of Enterprise Storage Product Lifecycle: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Entire Product Lifecycle, From Ideation To Retirement, For Enterprise Storage Products. This Includes Experience In Developing Product Roadmaps, Managing Product Launches, And Conducting Market Analysis And Competitive Research.
Strong Technical Background: A Product Manager In This Role Should Have A Solid Technical Foundation In Enterprise Storage Technologies Such As San, Nas, And Cloud Storage. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams And Make Informed Decisions About Product Features And Functionalities.
Experience In Product Strategy And Planning: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Executing Product Strategies That Align With The Overall Business Objectives Of The Organization.
